Your Opportunity


As part of the Outsourcing Governance team you will work within the SBM’s Offshore Governance Office to deliver on the objectives and outcomes aligned with the STS outsourcing strategy. These objectives include ensuring long term sustainability of STS outsourcing model via a centralized STS vendor governance body with clearly defined OKRs, enabling alignment of OGO governance processes with top down outsourcing guiding principles, ensure flexibility with leveraging 3rd party vendors while safeguarding STS and enterprise from undue risk, defining governance processes and identify supporting tools to effectively support distributed Agile teams and Optimize cross enterprise stakeholder engagement to reduce overall firm risk.

What you are good at


  • Accountable for OGO governance objectives and outsourcing outcomes (i.e. OKRs); ensure the long-erm sustainability of top down outsourcing guiding principles
  • Coordinate with SMT and set the long-term strategic direction for STS outsourcing
  • Partner with CVM, HR, Legal and Finance to fulfill Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) objectives
  • Partner with CVM to finalize non-legal aspects of vendor contracts, service levels and pricing
  • Provide thought leadership and oversight for Outsourcing Engagement and Delivery Managers

What you have


  • BS in Business Administration, or equivalent work experience (2+ years)
  • Financial services experience a must
  • Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to anticipate issues and to design appropriate solutions
  • Leverage relationships and insights to successfully influence others. Build authentic and trusted relationships to create alignment and support.
  • Very experienced with managing, maintaining and measuring outsourcing models for an organization while safeguarding the enterprise from undue risk.
  • Proven track recording of controlling and optimizing outsourcing costs and productivity
  • Experience with forecasting and managing outsourcing capacity based on demand in adherence to top down guiding principles
  • Proven track record with the ability to define and track quality of work output, proactively manage organic/ inorganic attrition, streamline training and onboarding process and tailoring vendor contracting to suit Agile development methodology
  • Prior job knowledge and financial experience with an understanding of spend thresholds and continuously monitor/manage unit labor costs
  • Strategic vendor relationship management experience with an understanding of metrics/scorecards for vendors that includes financial and non-financial SLAs
