What you are good at
Job Description: Writing automation code in Selenium WebDriver with Ruby for the corresponding Acceptance test-driven development (A TTD). Implementing test practices, standards and processes. Troubleshooting test issues, recording test results, tracking and prioritizing defects within Schwab's software development, participating in product readiness, and releasing decisions. Ensuring Schwab's automation is constantly running and being analyzed and that all issues and failures are reported promptly to the Digital innovation team. Negotiating overall product quality standards with Schwab's business and development teams and participating in technical governance. Defining and executing both the project and release level Test Strategies, Test Plans, and Test Cases/ Scripts which span across multiple, Schwab QA Product Teams. Coordinating test execution with external vendors according to Retail Web Training standards. Collaborating with Schwab's QA manager to research, investigate, implement, and train other QA Testing Resources in Agile Testing Practices, Test Driven Development, Testing Automation, and managing Testing Metrics for publication to Upper Management. Leading project/product-based testing efforts across many of Schwab's applications (including End to End Test efforts). Escalating any testing-related issues to responsible Schwab stakeholders. Composing and managing integrated project plans, testing schedules, and metrics with assigned Product Teams, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters and releasing status updates to all levels of Schwab management. Testing activities, participating in Requirements Ambiguity, & Use Case/ User Story Reviews, conducting QA analysis. Working cross-organizationally both within Schwab and with external vendors, both on and offshore to define environmental requirements. Performing Code Reviews. Driving innovative testing solutions within a complex, Enterprise Platform.
What you have
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related field followed by 6 years of progressive, professional, post- baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Experience and/or education must include:
- C# .Net / Java
- Pivotal Cloud Foundry /Bamboo
