Schwab Charitable Technologies is looking for an experienced .NET Developer on the backend with Angular experience . You will be working with experienced back-end .NET teams and will help provide architectural guidance and best practices for our growing Angular code base.

Schwab Charitable Technologies provides the technical capabilities for Schwab Charitable, a separate Schwab company that is committed to increasing charitable donations in the United States. You will literally be a part of making the world a better place.

What you are good at


You will be working with modern platforms and technologies (e.g., Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Angular, GraphQL MongoDB, Oracle, SQL Server RabbitMQ, etc.) and modern processes (Agile/Scrum, Design Thinking, BDD). You will help define and refine the front-end architecture (reusable components, styles, etc.) as well as automated testing strategies (unit and integration). You will also contribute back end code (.NET C#), understanding the full application architecture and integration points of our distributed system.

This is a leadership role. You will help guide and mentor other developers, participate in code reviews, and in general build a mature, well designed full stack application. You will also work with other tech leads and technical directors.

You are a passionate technologist who excels in multiple .NET and web technologies. You understand the importance of well managed code. You are the kind of rock star who is interested in building others up to your level. You know how to write clean code and are a team player anxious to share your knowledge.

What you have


  • 10+ years .NET experience
  • Strong unit testing skills
  • Solid understanding of web technologies and protocols
  • Experience working with API and REST technologies
  • Git experience
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An eye for continuous improvement
  • Proven ability to work with a team and be a strong team player

    Nice to have

  • Angular, particularly reactive programming using NgRx or similar
  • MongoDB, Oracle, SQL server or similar
  • SQL knowledge (any database)
