Your Opportunity

Schwab Asset Management (dba as Charles Schwab Investment Management (CSIM)) has an opportunity for someone with presence, integrity, intellectual curiosity, and creative energy to work with senior leaders to create executive level presentations. The Senior Presentation Specialist will be accountable for providing high-quality execution of CSIM Fund Board and Senior Level Committee presentations. This position requires direct interaction with C-suite professionals. Additionally, this role will work across the organization with various subject matter experts.

Key Skillsets:

  • Exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail in tone, visual formatting, and grammar of communications
  • Expert-level PowerPoint and Excel
  • Able to plan ahead, work independently and collaboratively, coordinate people and activities related to projects
  • High degree of self-management, delivering highest quality work
  • Strong multi-tasker, with ability to effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong and clear verbal and written communicator
  • Able to maintain professional composure when working with immediate deadlines
  • A keen eye for visual presentation of all forms of written communication
  • Resourceful and creative problem solver. Able to anticipate obstacles and develop contingency plans.

What you are good at

  • Work with senior leadership team and groups across departments to prepare high level executive materials
  • Secure appropriate approvals from senior leaders as warranted
  • Draft and manage the development of presentations using established templates and guidelines
  • Adhere to presentation workflow and processes while suggesting ideas for improvement
  • Prioritize projects and complete multiple projects under strict deadlines and in high pressure situations
  • Manage multiple complex projects for all lines of business.
  • Meet established deadlines for service delivery to our clients
  • Help to foster a proactive environment of continuous service enhancement and relationship building with the client
  • Perform self-review and quality checks of own work and those of others, as requested
  • Anticipate and troubleshoot delays in process; communicate with clients and manager if deliverables are delayed

What you have

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Excellent skill in the use of Microsoft Office products, specifically PowerPoint and Excel
  • Proficiency with creating/editing PowerPoint presentations
  • Excellent analytical skills, keen attention to detail and high-level project management skills so as to effectively organize, prioritize, multi-task and manage time
  • Financial services industry experience highly Experience in the asset management industry a plus.
  • Superior written and verbal skills communications skills
  • Ability to influence and drive outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
