Schwab’s Branch Network is part of the broader Investor Services organization and is primarily responsible for providing advice and counsel to individuals and families regarding their financial needs, including retirement planning, education planning, investment management, estate planning, active investing, managed investing, banking and lending.  To learn more about our client offerings visit:  Charles Schwab - Investor Services.

The Branch Network Business Operations team supports the delivery of world-class wealth management for Schwab clients by facilitating leadership activities and strong organizational partnerships in support of Branch strategy, business planning and execution, communication, and voice of the field efforts.

What you are good at


  • Support delivery against the Branch Network business plan:
    • Facilitate strong organizational partnerships, strategic alignment and effective collaboration with cross-functional partners to deliver against the business plan
    • Independently manage ad hoc and recurring deliverables to drive progress against Branch Network priorities
  • Leadership decision support: Information-gathering, analysis and development of recommendations to drive effective decision making by Branch Network senior leaders
  • Business update and leadership communications support: Gather information and synthesize into materials and talking points for business updates and  leadership meetings
  • Creating positive outcomes within fast-paced and dynamic environments – operating with a can-do attitude, a sense of urgency and applying a mix of creativity and resourcefulness to problem-solving
  • Navigating and leading through new and ambiguous subject matter and/or developing an understanding of new information/data, identifying and prioritizing business implications, developing a point of view and creating the objectives, structure and plan to mobilize resources
  • Distilling and summarizing complex information down to the main points, with the appropriate level of detail to make it understandable/actionable for senior leadership and key stakeholders
  • Gaining trust as a partner that works effectively with a diverse range of functions and levels to drive accountability to timelines and deliverables

What you have


  • Comfort with ambiguity and an ability to adapt to change
  • Outstanding partnership, collaboration and influencing skills
  • Willingness to take on a variety of projects, small and large, that vary in scope and complexity and ability to manage deadlines independently
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify what information/data is needed, synthesize and develop recommendations
  • Skilled in operating at both strategic and tactical levels, with attention to detail
  • Business acumen, in particular an ability to identify and make sound trade-off recommendations, and alignment with Schwab’s vision and values
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelors degree with 5+ years relevant experience required, MBA a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: PowerPoint, Word, Excel

Colorado Compensation

Target Total Compensation – 121,000-242,000
