Under guidance of Corporate Safety and Health management, this position is responsible for assisting to develop, audit, update, and coordinate business safety inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow-up assessments under the businesses’ injury and illness prevention program (I2P2).

Also helps to plan, implement, and conduct preventative care and safety training programs. Conducts safety meetings and new hire safety orientations with people centers and regional branches. Ensures organizational wide compliance related to the safety and security of corporate Associates, Vendors, and Visitors.

As a secondary job function, operates as a member of Corporate Security’s Executive Protection Program to ensure the safety and personal security of the Company CEO, Executive Management, and other designated individuals. These duties include but are not limited to, threat assessment, monitoring of security systems, preplanning activities for regular and special events, coordination with various service providers, and providing close personal protection to the principles as they go about their daily activities. These services may require long hours including nights, weekends and holidays. This position must be willing to travel worldwide, sometimes on short notice.

      • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Program
      • Walking-Working Surfaces Program
      • First Aid Policy
      • Corporate Sharps Standard
      • Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Program
      • Exposure Control Program
      • Infectious Diseases Plan
  • Emergency Action Plan Handbooks
    • Regular review and update
  • Weather Program (oversight of; day-to-day operations facilitated through GSOC)
  • Coordinated Building Emergency Planning drills (evacuation/shelter)
  • Community Involvement (safety-related items)

What you have


Current certifications in or working towards within the first six months:

  • First Aid/CPR, Bleeding/Hemorrhage Control, and Active Shooter response
  • OSHA 30-Hour General Industry
  • Mental Health First Aid (3-year certification)

1-3 Years’ experience:

  • Understanding and awareness of legal health and safety guidelines
  • Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies
  • Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment
  • Excellent organizational and motivational skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • BS/BA in management or relevant field preferred
