Your Opportunity

The Retail Trading & Education Finance group provides financial analysis and strategic decision support for Schwab’s Retail Investor Services enterprise. This role is vital in providing financial guidance, helping business partners drive scale and efficiency, and developing ad-hoc analytics to support business initiatives to an organization focused on providing superior trading platform, products, education and client experience.

What you are good at

  • Be a key partner to the Trading & Education business leadership team across geographical locations
  • Independently provide monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, lead monthly close process, provide ongoing financial forecasting and annual budgeting, and ad hoc business analysis to business partners
  • Synthesize, communicate, and provide relevant financial insights to advise strategic decision making
  • Build strong business partnerships at multiple levels to help get results
  • Proactively identify unmet financial reporting and analysis needs to drive process efficiencies

What you have

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting or related field
  • 2+ years of related financial planning & analysis (FP&A) experience
  • Knowledge of finance and accounting principles and concepts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and ability to learn different applications and tools
  • Proactive self-started and teammate who can work well in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work as a team and form relationships to deliver results
  • Knowledge of IBM Planning Analytics or PeopleSoft Financials is a plus

Colorado Compensation
Target Total Compensation - 78,200 - 140,800.
