Your Opportunity

The Liquidity and Funding Management group within Treasury handles liquidity and funding planning across the corporation and its subsidiaries, including our bank and broker-dealers. We monitor and ensure adherence to regulatory ratios including the Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) and associated public disclosures, Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR), FR 2052a Liquidity Monitoring Report. We also develop tools to assist our business partners in analyzing the liquidity impacts of business decisions. We work with our second line partners to assist in the development of robust contingency liquidity analyses and plans to help identify emerging risks. This group is responsible for the design of company liquidity management policies, ensuring compliance at all times, and raising issues to senior management as necessary. We work with internal and external partners on multiple ongoing examinations and audits of liquidity practices.

This is an individual contributor role in the collateral management group within liquidity management.

What you are good at

  • Help establish collateral management controls, policies and procedures.
  • Optimize collateral selections for liquidity and pledging purposes while collaborating with the securities lending groups
  • Build robust analytics to support collateral pledging activities
  • Knowledge of broker dealer items impacting liquidity like 15c3-3, and 15c3-1 preferred
  • Provide modeling support for upcoming broker dealer integration
  • Monitor assets pledged to our counterparties across all legal entities
  • Work with cross functional teams to identify ways to optimize collateral requirements
  • Identify and monitor assets that are unencumbered and available to be pledged
  • Monitor and ensure collateral availability to support secured funding activities

What you have

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • CFA, CPA or FRM professional designation preferred
  • 5+ years of related work experience in a financial organization
  • Demonstrated detailed knowledge of finance
  • Knowledge of broker / dealer liquidity, collateral requirements and experience in operational treasury management and oversight
  • Experience with financial systems, data analysis and data interpretation, including experience with very large data sets
  • Advanced knowledge of mathematics and statistics preferred
  • Experience with developing and maintaining quantitative and predictive analytics to support business and reporting needs
  • Excellent analytical, strategic planning, problem resolution skills
  • Ability to translate sophisticated business problems into discrete quantifiable components
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
