Job Description: Senior Informatica Administrator for large Informatica suite Platforms supporting multiple tools & user groups with more than 100 developers. Will be responsible for the health of the environment and the support of current users and technologies. Will also onboard other user groups onto the platforms. Will engage and work with the architecture team for future environment changes, additional add-on usage and upgrades. Installation and configuration of Informatica and other related products which include Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog, Informatica Power Center, Informatica Power Exchange, Informatica Data Quality, Informatica Data Validation Option & Collibra Cloud. Acts as go to point of contact between the business and the various projects teams involving Application Support Team, Network, Database Teams, Storage and Unix teams. Coordinating downtime with the application support team, business users and liaise with Systems administrators, UNIX, Network and DBAs for scheduling and implementing software patches and upgrades. Maintaining the standards and making sure that code is sync in all the three environments. Supporting the Production, UAT, QA and Development Informatica 10.4.x environments with responsibility for environment uptime and overall system performance. Ensuring developer/user compliance with environment strategy including devising monitoring methodologies and/or processes. Scheduling and monitoring Informatica repository backups. Creating new repositories from scratch, backup and restore. End of Life system verification and upgrades. Perform regression testing and approve the overall upgrade or setup.
What you have
Requirements: Master’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Experience and/or education must include:
- Informatica - Enterprise Data Catalog, Data Quality, Power Center, Power Exchange, products
- Relational databases - Teradata, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB
- Linux/Unix Skills
- Big Data Tools – Hadoop HDFS, Yarn, Hive, HBase, Spark
- Jira, Confluence, Remedy
- Agile project methodologies
- Managing share (multi-users) Informatica environments and analyzing job/workflow performance
