Your Opportunity

The Operations Associate will utilize various applications for Mutual Fund related activities through broker/dealers, the National Securities Clearing Corporation (NSCC), and multiple other trading platforms. Successful candidate will process trade, dividend, corporate action client requests with a primary emphasis on accuracy. Candidate will have continuous communications with Client Services and other support business partners.

What you are good at

The operations associate will utilize various applications for processing Mutual Fund related activities through broker/dealers and the NSCC. They will work on a geographically dispersed team with daily responsibilities including pricing assets, clearing trade exceptions, and completing daily trading/dividend processes on behalf of our clients. They will also process corporate actions, and other various operations duties as required.

What you have

  • 0-2 years of related financial services experience required
  • 3-5 years brokerage, transfer agent or trust operations experience preferred.
  • Previous trading/operations experience in the retirement industry is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail and creative thinking are a must. Candidates will need to
  • communicate effectively within a team environment.
  • Great communication skills that include communicating to external clients, management, and business partners.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills that include the ability to research and resolve issues to completion.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Advanced excel skills required.
  • Attention to Detail.
  • Self-Motivation and Adaptability.

The hours for this position shift each week from 1:30 PM Pacific to 10 PM Pacific and 2 PM Pacific to 10:30 PM Pacific with overtime as needed. The candidate must be available to periodically work later when required to ensure daily trading functions are completed.
