What you are good at


Job Description: Enhance and maintain core applications of Status Utility to facilitate customer needs and improve customer experience. Play active role in the future state development of the application based on the event-driven Architecture using RabbitMQ/Kafka. The candidate would be leading one of the scrum teams and work closely with the Solution Architect and the Product Owner in translating the requirement into Design using the best practices.  This role will also be responsible for mentoring the development team, designing and overseeing coding standards and code reviews while interfacing closely with key stakeholders. Work with external teams as a subject matter expert and technical lead for the Status Utility platform in integration efforts. Work closely with the support and the DevOps teams to improve the process of deployment and enhance monitoring of the application. Research and evaluate new features with the new versions of the language, technology we are using by doing Proof of concepts to improve the application.

What you have


Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field and 5 years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Experience and/or education must include:

  1. Solid backend development experience in C#/.NET
  2. Designing and implementing REST based Web Service API(s) in a transaction processing environment
  3. Object oriented design, SOA, design patterns, development, implementation and maintenance.
  4. Distributed multi-tier applications, WMI, NO SQL databases, and SQL
  5. Source control systems like TFS or Bitbucket
  6. Cloud Native Applications and Micro Services Architecture
  7. Web based technologies such as Angular/React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript, jQuery, Backbone, Bootstrap, Node or similar
  8. Agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures
