Sr Specialist - Software Development & Engineering

Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Work with business domain and technical experts to understand the regulatory reporting requirements. Develop custom logic within company’s proprietary product to meet the regulatory reporting requirements. Build custom data pipelines with special calculation engines based on various customer behavior patterns and push data to company website. Build investment technology applications based on data pipelines specific to the business investment methodology. Partner with SAMS business and actively work with Product Owners, End-users and Partners in managing requirements, design, coding, testing (unit and functional), deployment and post-release support. Develop plans for proof of concept and validation of technology/solutions. Design, develop, test, implement, and troubleshot ETL (Extract Transform Load) mappings and workflows in a large data warehouse environment to build regulatory reporting. Position allows for partial remote work. Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to company office in Lonetree, CO. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.

Salary: $160,863 to $214,700per year

What you have

Job Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field. Requires 5 years of progressive, post-bachelor’s related experience, which must include some experience in each of the following skills:SQL Server (T-SQL and PL/SQL); Cloud deployments and CI/CD; SSIS/Informatica/Datastage; Webservices (.NET); Warehouse/Datamart; and POSTMAN.
