The Data and Representative Technology (DaRT) organization governs the strategy and implementation of the enterprise data warehouse, Data Lake, and emerging data platforms. The organization’s mission is to drive activation of data solutions, rep engagement (Sales, Marketing, and Service) technology, and client intelligence to achieve targeted business outcomes, address data risk, and safeguard competitive position. We help Marketing, Finance, Risk, and executive leadership make fact-based decisions by integrating and analyzing data.

You will be working with a brilliant team of technologists who bring energy, focus and fresh ideas that support our mission to provide value by seeing the world “Through Clients' Eyes”. The key focus of the role will be supporting enterprise class platforms namely, Talend, IICS (IICS Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services), including platform resiliency, capacity planning, new tenant enablement, and platform upkeep.

We are looking for an Talend Systems Administrator for a large scale Talend installation supporting multiple development teams within DaRT.  The role will be responsible for the health of the environment and support Talend, IICS. This requires prior experience installing, upgrading and supporting Talend & IICS tools.  The role will onboard other user groups onto the shared platforms and engaging with the architecture team for future environment changes, additional add-on usage and upgrades. Primary skillset required is Talend Administration. IICS Administration skillset is a plus.

  • Supporting the Production, UAT, QA and Development of Talend 8, IICS environments.
  • Administration of Talend & IICS. Prior experience installing, upgrading and supporting environments.
  • Outlining best practices for Talend usage, security controls, version control, code migration, and UNIX scripting, logging, and other development and deployment procedures. 
  • Troubleshooting during system downtime to restore service (working with vendor if necessary), determining root cause and establishing procedures to avoid recurrence. 
  • Supporting the system running on a Linux OS. 
  • Work within a 24x7 Platform Support Team to provide support to production operations & development teams.

What you have


Required Skills:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
  • 6- 8 years of administering Talend & IICS Suite of tools
  • Experience performing Talend & IICS upgrades and hot fix installations.
  • Experience with Unix Shell Scripting including troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Data platforms is a plus – Google BigQuery, Google Cloud Storage, Snowflake
  • Familiar with multiple database platforms including PostgreSQL, Mongo DB, Oracle, and SQL Server.
  • Work with an operations support team together to solve platform related issues on a daily basis.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence and Remedy systems
